JUNE FITNESS QUESTION
...............................................................................................
Q: As
I get closer to my wedding date, I don't have as much time to
exercise and I seem to be eating on the run. What are some quick
exercises to keep my stomach flat and thighs in shape? I still
want to look great in my dress and my bikini!
A: I
understand how busy you must be with your wedding fast approaching,
but take time out to de-stress with a good exercise program!
Some great, quick exercises include squats
& lunges for your legs and glutes, and abdominal crunches
for your abs. Most importantly, try to plan your meals and snacks!
Take a lunch box with you filled with healthy goodies so when
your hunger pangs approach, you can reach for good choices instead
of heading to the closest drive-thru. Good Luck!

APRIL FITNESS QUESTION
...............................................................................................
Q: I
am getting married in August 2002 and have ordered a strapless
dress. Can you give me some advice on how to tone my upper body
(arms, back, and shoulders) so that I will look my best on my
big day?
A: PUSHUPS,
one of the best exercises available to tone and strengthen the
upper body! Pushups incorporate the chest, shoulder and tricep
muscle groups making it an efficient exercise as well. They can
be done in a variety of levels and intensities, allowing the beginning
exerciser to the more experienced fitness fanatic to be challenged.
Contact me to further discuss how YOU should be performing push
ups! Congrats on the upcoming nuptials!!
